Dr. Elizabeth Welch received her doctorate from Salus University. She has been in private practice since the mid 1990’s and has owned her practice since 2009. Dr. Elizabeth is thrilled to be part of HearTN and is grateful for the opportunity to share her passion for helping people in Middle and Southeast Tennessee and in Northwest Georgia. She also founded and runs a non-profit organization, Hearing Connections, which helps make hearing health care more affordable. Dr. Elizabeth and her husband, Keith, have three daughters (and a new son-in-law which Keith is grateful for some added testosterone). They are active with their church and enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Rachel Tuberville, a Nashville native, has been with the practice for over 15 years. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. With her knowledge and compassionate personality for individuals with hearing impairment, Dr. Tuberville continues serving the residents of Middle Tennessee from our Franklin location. She and her husband have three children, Evy, Colten, and Ella Kate. You might catch them around town running from one sporting event to another!

Dr. Erica Thayer was raised in Knoxville, TN and attended The University of Tennessee Knoxville for both her undergraduate degree and doctorate in Audiology. Go Big Orange! She moved to Nolensville in 2013 and began working at Hear TN in the Franklin location. Dr. Thayer and her husband have 3 children: Calvin, Addie, and Rosemary. She and her daughter Addie both have hearing loss and wear hearing aids. Her own personal experiences with hearing loss give her a unique understanding and compassion for her patients.

Dr. Bridget Lee received her doctoral degree from the University of Memphis in 2004 then practiced in Memphis for three years. Having grown up in Columbia, she returned to the Middle Tennessee area in 2007. Dr. Lee now serves Middle Tennessee with her hearing and balance expertise at Hearing Services of Franklin. Dr. Lee and her family live in Spring Hill, and she sees patients in the Spring Hill location.

Dr. Jennifer Kilgore grew up in Memphis and received her doctoral degree from the University of Tennessee in 2017. She practiced in the Franklin area for several years, and we were thrilled when she joined our Spring Hill location in 2022. Dr. Kilgore lives in Thompsons Station with her husband, Cole, and two children.

Dr. Paige Lyon received her doctorate in Audiology from Lamar University.  Paige is a Las Vegas native and completed her undergraduate work at MTSU on a soccer scholarship. Her family is very close, and they love to spend time together outdoors. Settling in Chattanooga has been a great move for Paige and her husband Taylor.

Sara received her bachelor’s degree from Liberty University, majoring in business management and Christian counseling. She is a former Marine who enjoys organizing and strategic planning. She thrives on seeing positive results and developing systems to deliver the highest-quality patient care and satisfaction. Sara and her husband live in Franklin, TN, and love to travel. They have a son who is a 2024 Biochemistry graduate from the University of Iowa.

Lauren grew up in Franklin and earned an associate’s degree from Columbia State CC. She is married to Micah and lives in Franklin. They are very involved with their church, where Lauren is active in the kids’ ministry. The Thiemans welcomed their first baby—a boy—in 2022. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and being a new mom keeps her busy. We are thrilled to have her on our team.

Newlyweds Stephanie and her husband Neil moved to Franklin in January 2023. She joined our team at the Franklin office in October 2023 and learned the ropes at the front desk before taking on the position of Audiology Assistant. Her calm demeanor and positive outlook are a welcome addition.

Stephanie’s focus is on supporting our doctors with all things clinical. She is well-trained in a variety of patient care experiences. She also oversees our lab processes and participates in one of our community service programs: monthly hearing aid cleanings for residents of our local assisted living communities and skilled nursing centers.

Mandy is originally from Mississippi, and she graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Kinesiology. She is married to Ken, and they have two adult children, Walker and Maggie. The Roberts reside in Franklin, TN. Mandy enjoys gardening, reading, and being with her family, friends, and pets. Mandy will greet you with a big southern smile and happily check you in and out for your appointments in the Franklin office.

Nicole helps our patients have the best possible experience working with our offices. She jumped right in like she’s done this her whole life, with a great attitude and always a smile. Nicole is one of the friendly voices who greets you by phone, via email, or in person at our Franklin location.

Nicole is a Franklin native and recent graduate. She is happy to work in an environment where she can develop her administrative skills while helping others. Nicole recently became engaged to be married and looks forward to building a bright future for herself as she begins these exciting new phases of life.

Kathy is our Patient Care Coordinator in the Trenton office and has been with the practice since it opened in 2008. She is from Chattanooga TN, but has lived in Dade Co GA while raising her family. Since then, her husband has retired from Belhaven University. They currently live in Flat Rock AL. Kathy her husband Ed have been married 45 years and have two grown children and one grandson. Her attention to detail and love for the patients comes through to make us a better team every day. Kathy tells us she loves working for HearTN, making our patients feel comfortable the moment they walk in our office, and that it’s especially rewarding to know that our services are improving their quality of life. We are proud to have Kathy on our team.
